AirHockey101 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 If nothing else, both games lacked four engine heavy bombers (either flyable or AI) from the get-go, the difference being that CFS3 eventually incorporated them in later add-ons, whereas IL-2GB still has yet to feature them at all.
AEthelraedUnraed Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Also, both games have a Bf-109 that you can shoot enemy aircraft with, as well as a Fw-190, a Spitfire, a Mustang, a Thunderbolt, a... well, you get the gist. I'm not sure what your point is here. That one combat flight simulator is very similar to another combat flight simulator? Or that IL2 doesn't have four engine bombers? As for the latter point, they've explained many times already why IL2 doesn't have them, and they also announced that IL2 Korea will feature the B-29.
BOO Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I don’t think you can make a complaint that a game that doesn’t hide the fact it has no 4 engined aircraft and sells itself on a tactical level has no 4 engines aircraft or strategic gameplay. Well you can. I just don’t see why you would. 1
