polak94000 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 (edited) Hi every one, Greetings and best wishes for 2025. After a long break for the festive season, we're back to take part in the biggest aerial battle in history! Here are the briefings ///// Mission#5 ///// ///// KanalKampf chapter ///// ///// German Rush To The West campaign ///// ///// Convoy CW8 CodeName BOOTY ///// RAF July, 25 1940. 15H00. Despite repeated requests from Air Chief Marshal Hugh Dowding to stop convoys in the Channel, which are easy targets for the Luftwaffe and very difficult for the RAF to protect. The orders remain the same for RAF pilots: Protect convoys at all costs!!! CW8 convoy, code name BOOTY leaves the Thames estuary (AV.26) heading east. Numerous enemy aircraft take off and gathering over Pas-De-Calais. Wait for take-off clearance and start providing cover over the convoy. The Chain-Home radar stations will contact you by radio and guide you towards the enemy. It seems that the Germans are organising several attacks to try to divide our forces, so be extremely vigilant. Keep one thing in mind, When flying alone, you're a target, but when you're with your wingman, you become a weapon! Stay grouped around your leader and dive into the enemy when you are sure to have the advantage. God save the King and the British Empire!!! Available aircraft: Spitfire Ia, Spitfire Ia (100oct): No 64 squadron at Kenley (AN.25). Luftwaffe July, 25 1940. 15H00. We continue to harass British convoys in the Channel in order to exhaust the RAF and force it to send fighters on permanent patrols. A convoy has been spotted in the Thames estuary (AV.26) heading east.
