CB77Don246 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I am a old boy and I mean old, so I look at the cost of things I am missing FC VOL4 but at the moment my state pension do's not run to it then I thought hey what if I was new to FC and wanted to buy the 4 volumes that would set me back around £262 UK pounds am I living in the past.
Davesax1965 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Hi CB77 Don246 - alas, you are. I'm 60 this year and I know what you mean. The good thing is that there are occasional sales on, so rather than pay full whack, you can wait for products to come available for less money. So that's individual volumes of FC and collector planes. Is it expensive ? Yes, but it's custom software development for a niche market. Really, it's like buying a pair of handmade shoes - the quality is not something everyone can afford, or even wants. So I'd say sit back and wait for FC4 to go on sale. It's worth it in the end. There's also the option to pay in installments via Klarna or similar, of course.

Trooper117 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I'm 69 this year and on a pension as well... as others have said, just wait for the sales if you can. But I know how you feel, bills to pay, car plus motorbike to keep on the road, robbing Peter to pay Paul etc... oh, and looking after Ludo the dog adds up as well. 1

Well fortunately you have the first three and vol 4 isn't worth diddly so you're not missing much. Start saving for vols 5-7. 2
CB77Don246 Posted January 23 Author Posted January 23 They have a sale on at the moment Vol1 , 2 ,3 are very good price BUT Vol 4 the one I am missing is still out of reach for me why not price it the same as the other Volumes.

Because it's their latest module. It's only out for a month or so. Look again in a year or so; it's likely much cheaper then.

ST_Catchov Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Cut back on the booze and smokes and chasing women and then get fc4. It's worth it if you like old birds and I think you do. 2
CB77Don246 Posted February 26 Author Posted February 26 I dont drink and i do not smoke and as for women I have been with the same one for some 60 years. 1 1
