It is just amazing that all this run in the Standalone headset without the need of a PC.

And the clickable thing with the controllers looks nice.

Personally I prefer to feel and touch a physical HOTAS and rudder peddals, I remember I tried Ultrawings in the past and I didn´t like the way to grip a "ghost" joystick to handle the plane.

Hey, thank you so much for posting this!  We worked really hard to try and push the Quest to it's limits 😉  Our goal was to make a "casual" sim but with a better look and feel than the other games out on the Quest.  We have some good interactivity in the cockpits and a nice, smooth physics-based flight model (unlike most of the other Quest games.)  Of course, nothing as detailed and serious as you guys are all used to, but we think even IL*2 pilots might enjoy it for a quick "jump in" VR experience.

BTW, we hear that some HOTAS systems can be detected by the Quest, and we will be looking into those soon.

This does look interesting, especially for those who need some entertainment while waiting for Battle of Korea or Combat Pilot's Carrier Landings to arrive.  More and more Il2 pilots fly with a Quest 3 headset.

I personally have a 6e router and use Virtual Desktop to fly wirelessly.   The frustration with Il2 flyers in VR is having to fly like Helen Keller to use all your controllers and keyboards.  There are work arounds but they are all clunky.

For your sim, being able to flip switches and pull levers means you can eliminate a lot of that friction, just hard for virtual pilots to give up their joystick and rudders.  Best of luck with the sim....may buy it just to support the cause and see how it develops.

Although I prefer fighters from I and II WW with simpler cockpits (IL-2 is my only game, in VR of course), I just bought the game to test the state of the technology for an standalone game like this.

I was amazed by the clarity of the cockpit just to be an Standalone, and the easiness of the clicks with the controllers. I had never been in hte cockpit of a T-33 but with the graphic Help and the instruction I was quickly familiar with everything (just simple actions). Also, you don´t need to map every action in the Hotas, you do it in a natural way. I was my first experience with clickable and it was nice.

I remember with RiseOfFlight we had some Training to learn the plane and other things, here it is nice to have also the training sessions.

Ideally it cold be done directly with the Quest3 Hand tracking, but the controllers are required.

I only tested for 30 minutes and only the T-33 in free flight, the only weird thing is the control of the stick with the controller. Maybe putting just a simple wood stick attached to the floor and the controller will give more feeling.
