ACG new campaign - Normandy

The year is 1944 and the Allied Powers set their sights on setting foot once again into Mainland Europe.

 

The Royal Air Force in sight of this prepares its newest creation in the form of the 2nd Tactical Air Force with the mind of supporting Allied troops in the field. The Hawker Typhoon by now a veteran of low level strikes into occupied Europe is readied for the Campaign that would make it famous and burn it into the History Books as a true Tank Hunter.

 

Meanwhile on the other side of the Channel, Luftlotte III and Jagdgeschwader 26 ready themselves for an invasion they know is coming, their stores are reinforced by the arrival of new FW-190A8s and enhanced variants of the BF-109G. The fate of Europe hangs in the balance as the eyes of the world descend on a small part of France fated to be the decisive area of Operation Overlord.

 

The Air Combat Group will be following this critical moment in History in what promises to be their most innovative campaign yet.
