Same issue with P39.

30mm: 9 hit until wing off...765g of tnt...Flak 88 had 698g....

Not very much different from other planes in the game. HE shells mostly damage skin and internal components, structural elements and armor are less affected.

Are you seriously trying to tell me that this is realistic? That the P-39 can take 9 hits from 30mm rounds, when the Spitfire could barely survive 1 or 2? And the B-17 only 4?

Fun fact: the Minen didn't explode on the surface, but inside — BUT of course, that's not modeled..."

Could be side-stepped by increasing the damage of HE shells past a certain caliber or HE filler amount (say, 30 grams). Would make 30mm straight up better and secure the inconsistent damage of 37mm cannons that people complain about.

But that's a completely different topic if we get to it.
