Sharing some videos my uncle Walter made covering his service on the Aircraft Carrier USS Essex (CV/CVA) during Korean War

Some of you might find these videos interesting.  I recently put them up on Youtube.  It was my first experience of posting videos so I hope you all can find them. 

 

Walter Timmins (petty officer, 2nd class airman, photographer)  served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Essex (CV/CVA).  His service was during the Korean War when the carrier was in the Pacific.  It was his duty to take photos, particularly of takeoffs and landings of aircraft. 

 

These particular videos are primarily of the Essex.
