Windows did destroy the game for me....

I have windows 11  and at the last update 27764.0000 (not easy to install) the game does launch but stop working just before going into the game intself ?!

IL2stops to work when it ends the updates???

There's no need to get dramatic The absolutely worst case is that you have to re-install the game, and you're not even nearly at that point yet.

 

Do you use the Steam version or the standalone version? If you use Steam, verify the integrity of your game files.

If you use the standalone version, you should have an "updates" folder somewhere in your installation directory; deleting the contents should have a similar effect.

It is worse than you think , each time I launch the game it get stuck on the first screen and go no futher. If I look into windows active programs IL2 is stuck at 420mb.

And no activities. Maybe someone isusing my old account?

Did you try the actions I recommended? What was the result?

Also please tell us if you use Steam or the standalone game. What is your OS version and graphics driver?

What exactly does this "first screen" show (there are multiple things that might be described as the "first screen")? Can you post a screenshot?
