Extreme 3D Pro joystick hat switch

New to the game and was able to key map the buttons on the 3D Pro but having no luck mapping the hat switch to be able to look around. I understand there’s snap views, panning views, etc. Is this even possible to map the hat for any kind of looking around for checking 6 and general situational awareness. Thanks in advance!
