Hello, VR question to you ol dogs...

Is there a key to recenter myself when in the cockpit? Sometimes when starting a session, I am not in the best spot to fly anything.

New to vr flying. Thanks.

The number 5 key is the default in the game.   If you use XRNS, you can bind a key on your HOTAS to re center, at least that's what I do.

I believe there's a VR-specific keybind in the settings, I'm not sure "5" will work.

Works for me in my setup.

Note that you've mapped both the reset of the VR view and the pilot head reset to numpad 5, so this means that your head resets to center and then the VR view resets to this. I think that I've got the same.

I just noticed that's my global setting.  I do have most of the A/C mapped to specific keys, and I may not have the pilot head reset keyed...or maybe I do.  Can't check right now.  But I do know that if I'm in my A/C I'll just push the HOTAS specific key to reset and center my head in the cockpit.

In VR the global setting does work prior to hitting the green enter game button.  Not a bad idea to align it as you enter the game and than the VRcenter after entering game with necksafer center on the same button.  You'll have minimal problems with drift, so long as your chair never moves.

I'm pretty sure the last time I mapped the VR Center to a button on my HOTAS there were no default binds present. So now the default binding is NumPad 5?

I'm pretty sure that's been the default binding since before I bought my VR set, which is some 4 years ago.
