Dr1 vs DH2

I flew the E3 in FC one day before this in VR; had a hard time aligning the gunsight.  But I always have that problem with my G2 headset; for some reason it always starts out high and to the left so I have to begin by moving my head low and to the right and then hit the 5 button to position it.  So on this day I started with a Dr1 and collimator sight to get everything lined up.  Flew a couple sorties in the Eindekker after that but haven't made a video of it yet. 

 

But based on that limited experience, I still didn't like the E3 gunsight and (while the FC plane does fly much better than the RB version) I thought maybe the FC DH2 was a little faster and could climb better?  Working on it later today.

 

Meanwhile, right back atcha, Al, Flashy, and anyone else who wants to participate.  🙂  Please, turn on your Flight Recorder, jump into an E3, tag onto a BE2, and show us what you've got.

This was my first time flying the iron-sighted E3 after having first centered my G2 headset via a collimator sight.  There's still some guesswork to it but it was close enough.  Film at eleven.  😎
