Switch to auxiliary fuel tank?

Hi all, I flew a career mission with the 27th US Aero Squadron last night. It was a bomber escort mission that went really well until on the return trip, just over the German side of the front, I ran out of fuel.

 

I paused the game and looked at the key commands to see if there was a way to switch to the auxiliary fuel tank. I hit the key that I thought would do that (Lshift and F, I think), but that caused me to jump from the plane. 🙁

 

So, is there a way to switch tanks in planes that have them?

So . . . judging by all the views but having no responses, I've either asked a really dumb question where the answer should be obvious to me, or I've stumped everyone. (Or both, perhaps). 🙂

 

I appreciate those who have taken a look at this topic.

 

I'll expand the question a little bit: is there a way on the WWI planes to switch which fuel tank you're using when your plane has more than one?

 

The keyboard commands seemed geared to WWII fuel selectors.

No, there is not ability to switch fuel tanks - it's all done automatically by the AI.
