Help - if i launch the game with Opentrack loaded, the game crashes in the main loading screen

i've noticed a weird problem 

if i launch the game with Opentrack running in the background, the game hard locks in the main loading screen

if i launch the game, then alt-tab and then launch opentrack it works fine

any fixes?
