No 24 Squadron in career or PWCG?

I just noticed something weird about both the game's career mode and PWCG.. there is no option to join No 24 squadron RFC. This was the famous squadron of Maj Lanoe Hawker, and the first squadron to be equipped with the DH2 in France.. you would think that would make it kinda important.. 

 

Something even more strange I noticed in PWCG though, is no 32 squadron is being commanded by Lanoe Hawker instead!

 

The only thing in the game which seems to mention no 24 squadron correctly is the Dh2 scenario included in the game's single missions:

 
This all seems very strange.. am I missing something? why isnt 24 squadron represented in either career mode or PWCG(where is has effectively been renamed to 32 squadron)?
