VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 (edited) I recently upgraded to Photoshop 26.1.0 and installed the nVidia Texture Tools Exporter plugin. When I produce a skin I have areas that are see through when these were not using the legacy dds exporter. EDIT: BTW the legacy exporter does not work with the latest PS version. I have tried many various settings to have it come out like skins produced using the legacy version without any luck. Below are SS of one set of setting I tried and a shot of the issue, transparent parts. Thoughts? Thanks, Stick Edited December 6, 2024 by VBF-12_Stick-95
jollyjack Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 If the areas are 'see through" the alpha layer there is too dark probably ..
VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 (edited) Does anyone know where I might find a download link to the plugin below? I think this is the latest version number. I have produced a number of skins from this template without an issue using the legacy dds plugin. This issue arose after moving to the newer nVidia texture tool. VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 Ahhh... I think I have it. New example below. I found a link that Jaws2002 posted and it worked fine (though I need to check it some more). Tip of the hat to Jaws. 1
