TRACKIR - how to get to work in ROF?

Hi all;  Sorry if this is redundant, I searched all the topics but only found people asking about eye tracking.  I have tried the ROF dl and the Steam dl of ROF but I cannot get my trackir 5 to work, my trackir works in il2 '46 DOF and in IL2 GB but really cannot get it going, not sure what I have to do. I get two lights on my trackir indicating it is detecting the game, I have spent two days trying to find information on how to get it to move but notta.

 

Any help is appreciated.

DUUUUHHHH - I was testing the game and had it set to 'mouse control' as soon as I put it to 'joystick control' TRACKIR worked.
