Artillery Strike for SP Missions: is this required for TC? Demo Video

Hi TC Experts,

Last week I extracted the Artillery Scripting Function (for SP Missions) from a Pilot Career reconnaissance mission and created simple groups for easy implementation in flight sim missions.

Yesterday @Billsponge1972 suggested to test this for Tank Crew.

I just made a small test: it works in general:

Here a small Demo (in a realistic mission I would only use the view from inside of the tank, as I do it in flight sims)

So my question: Do you already have a Artillery Strike function for Tank Crew Single Player Missions?

Is this required for Tank Crew?

Please let me know?

 

And a 2nd question: would be a "request for air strike for SP" required too?

There is no artillery mission in tank crew SP as far as I know, but it is a cool idea!
 

Btw, do you know there is a "indirect fire" mission in the tank crew SP missions which teaches you how to range and hit targets like 10km away using the SU-122 and SU-152? Its quite cool.. I have tried that technique on MP servers as well and I was able to hit targets from miles away.. it works best when you have a slightly elevated position so you can actually see the targets way off in the distance, but thats not required for the technique to work.. it would be great to get some cooperation with a U2 flying over the target and sending back messages on where the shots fall..

Or are requests for Air Strikes already available?
