Why do screen recorders cause so many malfunctions?

I started off trying NVidia's recording function, it trashed my setup (audio, haptics and NSXR). Then OBS-Studio, that trashed stuff too. Fraps was a joke, Bandicam was the best but trashed NSXR.

I don't understand why. Bandicam on (not even recording), my head is janked when using NSXR. Bandicam off, it works perfectly.

Does anyone know of a monitor screen recorder I can use while flying in VR that actually works?

Got no experience with VR alas, but the one in NVIDIA Experience always seemed to work OK.
