SimHaptic for bass shakers?

Has anyone successfully used SimHaptic from RK Apps with bass shakers?

 

I came across this software and seemed to be an interesting solution for my Buttkicker. 
 

However, I’m experiencing random shaking issues with IL2
- shaking starts in mission briefing menu screen before starting the mission
- shaking continues after the mission ends and I’m back in the mission briefing screen
- shaking appears to be random and some shakes seems to get stuck on during the game
