Zooropa_Fly Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 I gave up on trying to trim areas out of maps, was a major pain in the butt. It would help if you could reduce the map to screen size. As is, trying to drag-expand a highlighted area off screen is very stuttery for me, not to mention constant ME crashes doing such things. Then there's digging out all the groups etc. But there'll be some more efficient than me at this, so maybe someone has, or will, divvy it up a bit..

Once it's loaded in the editor, save it to get .msnbin, that will make load much faster. If you need map scenery for a particular part of the map, it's easier to make a _gen mission in QM in the vicinity of your liking, restricting the generation radius to less than infinite in the game settings (otherwise it will add a full scene to the generated mission). 1 2
