On line, Me-109 guns not firing when behind a IL-2

Hi all, it happened  to me and to other squadmate in two different occasions on line, that when placed on dead six of single seater IL-2 and shooting our guns, nothing happens. So we both overshoot the E/A. Our guns were well filled with ammo, and later on we shot OK, but to this particular plane, nothing happened.  Is something wrong with that, is a bug or a cheat?
