Idea how a warning against a enemy at your 6' clock could be realized with current IL-2:GB

-For realistic sp WW2 Air Combat are warnings by your ai wingmen very importent for single engine fighters.

-As far as I know it is in IL2-GB a problem to get messages about enemies with heading.

-It is possible to create warnings if enemies are nearby (at a certain distance), but not to consider the heading to them.

(this I do since some years with the wingmen warning subtitle or audio warnings messages)

My idea:

-We have ai bot gunners (I know they are not the best), that are engaging enemies in specified angle ranges of their turrets / gun mountings at specified ranges and they report with a audio message when they are engaging.

If we would create invisible "virtual rear gunners", that defend the fighter backwards in a maybe 60° cone with an invisible dummy gun and report messages when they engage the enemy (but with another message, e.g: "Enemy at your 6").

And these messages should only be transmitted if united planes are closer as e.g.:2km to the players plane.

(This condition I already use for my wingmen warnings).

But with the virtual rear gunners we could consider a bit the heading or the position of the enemies plane.
