signalnorths Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Having carefully followed Prangsters Mission Builder guide , I have succesfully managed to get AA to work. He says however that if you untick the enabled box it won't appear until needed.(This saving resources) When I untick the enabled box however it refuses to fire or indeed appear at all when an enemy a/c enters the attack area circle. Any help please?
Vendigo Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 (edited) Sure, if the entity is not "enabled" (i.e. enabled box unticked) then it doesn't appear at the mission start; you have to activate this entity, for example by applying the "Trigger: activate" MCU. Add the Checkzone circle that will detect the approaching enemy a/c, and spawn the friendly AA (with Trigger: Activate) and also this Checkzone must start the Attack Area circle for this friendly AA.
