1/JSpan_Wind75 Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 Hi everyone, Since I first saw the video of the pilot getting off the plane and putting his feet on the ground, I've had an idea that someone can develop or even the development team can implement. For example: You just landed from a mission and you get off the plane and go to a cabin that is actually a "CANTINA/PUB" and when you open the door you enter a mini-simulator where you can interact with other pilots who are simply there waiting for their squad mates or are just there to let them know that you can't fly today for whatever reason. This would give the SIM a very deep immersion since you could interact with other mates. The application can be in the IL-2 itself or in some STEAM application. Can you imagine...: You get off the plane, with your flight suit that you have previously chosen and you have a profile of your pilot and you ask the ground crew to replenish fuel and ammunition, and suddenly you enter that Virtual Reality space (Room), which would be something like an application where you enter with a character that you have customized to look like you, with lots of hair, dark, with glasses during the day or with some small wound on your uniform with the flight jackets and you pay for a few rounds to everyone who is in the Canteen, this could be an option to monetize this application, through this software that you can give the appearance you want, something like the SIM dolls based on the pilots that are already modeled in the IL-2. For example, in car driving simulators, some have that complex customization like the one I mentioned. I at least would be willing to pay for this option integrated into the SIM IL-2 Sturmovik.
