c19580 Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 I’m unable to start the game and nothing I’ve tried has helped… I was playing the game in VR and it suddenly froze and wouldn’t respond to any command, so I did a forced PC restart. When I try to start the game in Steam, the Play button will change to Stop (blue), but the game never loads. If I open windows task manager, it shows IL2 running with 6% of CPU and 43 Mb of RAM. I tried opening the game in VR and monitor modes but nothing… this is what I’ve tried: - updated Nvidia drivers - installed Windows updates - uninstalled IL2 in Steam and reinstalled - verified IL2 program files in Steam - verified that I was able to open MSFS in Steam to rule out a Steam issue I’m also wondering if it could be a VR issue but I’m ruling that out for now since I’m unable to start the game in monitor mode. please help me if there’s anything else I should try.
