Cold and dark engine start in career

As we know it’s impossible to implement an cold and dark start including taxing to the runway into career mode.

 

Could it be a compromise have a cold and dark start on the runway as an option? Some players missing the engine start and warm up in the career mode, especially more complex procedures like in the Me262 or Ar234. Also simple procedures like keep the radiators shut until the engine is warm etc…

 

In a current discussion we talked about it and in RoF this option was available? (I never played RoF)

 

 

Right now we have the options:

 

Start on runway 

Start in the Air

 

in career mode.

How about add

Start cold and dark on runway 

 

or 

 

Start engine off on runway?

 

Or both? 😜

Yes, this would be great. PWCG got it working in version 14. Hell Hawks Over the Bulge has at least one mission with a ramp start. It’s certainly possible to implement it within the engine. Whether that will happen now that the team has moved on to the new project is a different matter.
