poor VR experience

Hello, I recently bought VR and I barely get 45FPS with RTX 3060, I7-8700k and 32GB of RAM, the VR is oculus rift CV1, what the problem could be?
Also, I have ASW on, and I turned off force 45fps

Hi mate

 

First of all, with CV1 , the better is to run with Open Composite and Oculus Tray tool, you can manage your super sampling power to 1.0 to 1.3, also turn OFF Asw off, it drains alot of FPS. ( Avoid using Steam VR).

 

On IL2 , try your settings on medium, and set FXAA, Shadows OFF, Antialiasing off, clouds low, max visibility 70 kilometers.

 

You should get alot FPS with those settings adjusted, another important tip is to turn off your HUD , you get more fps with HUD off.
