CzechTexan Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 (edited) HELP! Something strange happened which has never happened before. I built a mission, test flew it, then opened it again in the Editor and made some revisions. The editor suddenly crashed after I had added a train and some smokes. I was not able to save the changes. I can fly the mission but it will not open in the Editor. If anyone is interested in solving this mystery, the download link is .... Download mission here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/q0hwlz3k71yuzy8/Solovevo_broken.zip/file Edited October 10, 2024 by CzechTexan
Billsponge1972 Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 (edited) If you delete the .mission file and open/load it in the editor by searching the name of the mission, and open the .msnbin file of the mission, it will load. Maybe the .mission file was corrupted when it crashed. Edited October 5, 2024 by Billsponge1972 Added content

Billsponge1972 Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 If you clear the "Mymission.mission" from the open mission window and start typing the name, It will find it.

You can also drill down to the folder where it is located in the ME and type *.* It will then show you all the files in the folder and you can open the mission from the .msnbin file. The same thing happened to me recently, and I did recover the mission. Edited October 5, 2024 by Jaegermeister

This saved me a lot of extra work. 1
Billsponge1972 Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 Glad I could help. I've been there myself quite a few times. 🙄 1 1
IckyATLAS Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 It seems the editor is not improving maybe the opposite. Let's hope tat if the one for Korea should be based on this one and stays compatible, as much as I understood, then we may be for some improvement.
