Windows 11 24h2

Any experience with 24h2 and IL2? I think I’m going to need a fresh install of windows 11 with this new update. I tried updating my current install of 23h2 and performance doesn’t seem as good. Thoughts? Thanks!

Is it out yet even? Running on Insider versions so no idea actually 😄 I do not have any performance issues with 23H2 in Helldivers or DCS or CloD. AMD's latest AGESA updates and GPU drivers have been very good.

Yes. It came out yesterday.

I have a fresh install now of 24h2. Seems to be a significant improvement in performance in Great Battles. Still testing though. 1% lows significantly better.

Windows 11 only I guess? 

Curious if that's the case, a fresh install always seems faster due clogging of an existing Windows installation, why i still run Windows 10 LTSC.

Yea, I first installed the update over a prior installation, but it didn’t seem to work very well. I had intended to install the new W11 24h2 from scratch anyway. Didn’t expect the improvement that I’m seeing though.

Hello friends I have

ASSUS ROG Z550-f Gamin MB with intel I9 11900K

Geforce FTX 4090

PiMax Crystal VR

Il 2 was running to max graphics to 72 fps - great until I upgraded my win 10 to win 11.

 

Now when I play the CPU load gets from 8-9 ms to 13 -18 ms, ALL SETTINGS ARE SAME TO TIL AND OPENXR, but the frame rate drops to 54 fps in some battles

 

I did everything what I find in the net

Upgraded to latest bios version

Turning on/off Game mode and Graphics hardware acc

holographic monitor disabled

updated all my drivers

in 3d mark I have 8780pts

 

please give me some advice?
