Hi all,

 

since I'll be upgrading my HMD soon-ish (next week) and I'm not a hoarder, I thought I'd throw my current VR-set on here for a mere pittance.

 

I'll be cleaning the set and packing it up in its original box once my new hardware gets here, and I'll be taking some pics when I do that - so no pictures yet.

 

This is an HP Reverb G2, (V1, I believe), which I bought as a barely used item off ebay about a year ago. The cable that came with it died on me a few months later but a squaddie had a factory-fresh, never used V2-cable lying around that he was willing to sell, so the cable should be good for the foreseeable future.

 

The set works fine and there are no dings or scratches that I can see on either the set or on the lenses - I do tend to look after my stuff - and I will of course rub the whole thing down with isopropyl alcohol before I put it in its original box. Other than that it comes with everything that it did when I bought it, so box, head-set, both controllers and the ear-/headphones. I took the two earphones off on day one, so they've only ever sat in the box during my ownership. The one minor thing that was already missing was the plastic cable-guide clamp, but I simply used a couple of cloth velcro cable-binders to attach the cable to the headband.

 

The set wasn't used super regularly by me (once or twice per week and only very rarely during the summer) and it still smelled factory fresh when I got it from the previous owner.

 

Since I don't want to have it lying around the house, I'd be letting it go for €100 plus shipping.

 

I'm accepting payments through PayPal.

 

I also have a Rift-S still here that also comes with all accessories and lives in its original box (haven't touched it in over a year). I'd be selling that one for €50 plus shipping if anyone's looking for a cheap entry level set.

 

...and I do have a pic of that Rift-S already... 😄
