Weather effects and conditions for the sim

One feature I really hope the devs consider is weather conditions, especially on the bases and runways. 

One feature missing from so many sims are bases and runways that look lived in and used.

It's clear that weather considered varies in the theatre. 

The Korean War saw a range of weather conditions, including extreme cold, hot and humid weather, and rain and mud: 

"Extreme cold: 

During the first winter of the war, American soldiers and their commanders were unprepared for the cold, which could drop to more than 30 degrees below zero. The Battle of Chosin Reservoir, which took place from November 27 to December 13, 1950, saw temperatures as low as -54°F. 

 

Hot and humid: 

When American troops first arrived in Korea in July 1950, they encountered a hot and humid climate. 

 

Rain and mud: 

In the spring, American ground troops experienced rain and mud."

 

The following video starts at a point where some weather conditions on the base, show just how bad conditions could be.

(I know it's WW2 and "The Aleutions" but weather conditions on bases is something rarely seen when it comes to rain, standing water and spray)
