DFLion_The Big Show_'JG26_Defends_Allied_Attack'

 

I mentioned earlier that I would do a 'reciprocal Luftwaffe mission' to my Big Show mission 'Commandant Mouchotte fails to return' - here it is.
You will fly as Maj. 'Pips' Priller, a Luftwaffe experten fighter pilot who survived the war - I'm fairly sure that Pierre Clostermann came up against him after D-Day.
After doing some research (JG26 Top Guns of the Luftwaffe by Donald L. Caldwell) I realised that JG26 were flying Focke-Wulf A5's at the time, not A6's. I will send out a revised mission on 'Commandant Mouchotte fails to return' with Fw190-A5's soon.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the mission, flying the nimble Focke-Wulf - watch your six?
