The novel thing is that it is an Standalone headset (with XR2 chip, cameras, bateries, etc) which also allows Displayport.

It is like a VivePro2 but with inside-out tracking.

I was testing the VP2 in the past and it was not convincing me. I am a bit tempted to try this headset because the only way to know if it is a good headset is by trying it out in a side-by-side test with your current headset (quest3 in my case)

Why bother with eye tracking when the screens are not that great resolution wise?  Not as if a top end PC can't push it at full res anyway.  And has anyone done eye tracking with frensel lenses before, is it actually effective through the whole lens?  Unnecessary expense and complexity?

Really not bringing anything new to the table, make a commitment, stand alone or PC, not some frankenstein in between with a battery dependent chip and a DP cord.  Your paying for a lot of extras your probably never going to use, so why would you do that?

Too early to tell whether eye tracking implementation will be worthwhile in this product. It will be quite some time before we see reviews by reliable reviewers.🤔

This Stanalone is like a VivePro2 but with the benefit of eye tracking and inside-out tracking.

Display Port via USB Alt-Mode.

But it looks like a small vertical FOV. I would try it if the resolution would be a bit higher and with pancake lenses.
