VR not centred in cockpit, Please help!

This has been happening only recently.   Oddly when I play a career or a campaign, my head is terribly low in the cockpit.   This has never happened before.   

 

It's totally fine when I do a quick mission buy for some reason this happens in campaigns and careers.   I tried "5" to center, it doesn't work.  I tried left shift "=" and "enter" but that doesn't work either.

 

Please help!

Map a key to Correct head snap position in Pilot Head Control settings (F10) and move your head to get the desired sight picture and press the button. Then when you press Center Head snap position (key pad 5) it will move you to that saved position. 

You'll need to do this for each aircraft you own. Position is saved until you make new selection.

May I add to this: after changing the default seated position (you have to do this for each & every plane you fly) start saving these settings.

Go to the directory ".....:\1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles\data\LuaScripts\snapviews" and in there copy those svc files that have been changed to a safe location.

 

In case you do a fresh install of the sim you just copy those saved files back into the directory.
