FeuerFliegen Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 I don't understand how I'm supposed to measure how much fuel I have left in the C-47, as the amount of liters I take do not match up to the amount of gallons I take (unless I take exactly 50% or 100%) I took 380L, which is just a hair over 100 US Gallons- the right and left aux. tanks read 80 gallons each (160 total). I tried a few other readings too; since 160 gallons is 20% of the 804 gallon capacity, I selected 20% fuel, to see what it would show in the cockpit; it said I had 120 gallons per both aux. tanks = 240 gallons total; clearly not 20% of 804. I tried it again, seeing what it would show if I put in 910L (240 gallons). It showed me approx. 360 gallons total on the fuel gauges. And while I'm at it, I've had similar issues with the Ju52; the readings on the fuel gauges never line up with how much fuel I actually have.
