BMA_FlyingShark Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 Those images of Paris look stunning. Have a nice day.
=621=Samikatz Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 Didn't expect the map update! Lovely news
JG4_Moltke1871 Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 Really nice to read this DD 🙂 Having Paris on the Map is excellent!! I really hope for some more City’s /Airfields/Targets in the rear 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Thanks to let us have a view of the current status of development 😀 Improvements and changes for the WW2 continent could be a good topic of the next DD 🙂🙂 3
RNAS10_Mitchell Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 Excellent! Can't wait! Thanks for the news and teaser pics..
giftgruen Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 (edited) Whow - early planes plus Paris. That's cool 🙂 ( especially cause I visited Paris once again just some days ago ) Edited September 6, 2024 by giftgruen
Juri_JS Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 (edited) Since we get Paris on the FC map, can it also be added to Normandy? Some of it would be outside the flyable area, but at least it would be visible. Copy and pasting the buildings would be easy to do in the mission editor, but we would also need the ground textures. Jaegermeister Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 This update should be nice, they are unique planes for sure! Don't forget there will be new single Scenario Missions released for the new FC vol. IV aircraft at the same time! 4 1
plepew Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 So excited to see these new early-war planes!! But, I thought they were going to be sold individually as collector planes. What's the story with FCV4? I mean is it an actual release with a set of aircraft or is it just a shorthand way of referring to the final batch of collector aircraft?

They never said they'd sell the planes individually as collector planes. Actually, it has been stated several times that it's gonna be sold as one bundle. Have a nice day. 1
Winkelmann Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 You kept this pretty secret, but so more the happy surprise.
plepew Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 @FlyingShark Check out Dev Blog #342 😉 7. The story of Flying Circus continues: plans for 2024 include additional improvements to the map and the development of seven new collectible aircraft: Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter B Sopwith Pup Airco DH.2 Albatros D.III Roland C.IIa Fokker E.III
Enceladus828 Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 Why isn’t the Albatross D.II lt coming?

I think he's referring to the other Alb d2 variant.. if I recall correctly the radiator was moved to the right instead of being directly above the pilot so he wouldn't get scalded with boiling hot radiator water. There may have been some other minor differences, but don't really recall. Both were available in ROF. Iirc, one of them might have actually handled slightly better, but I don't recall which one anymore. Edited September 7, 2024 by RNAS10_Mitchell 1
Rivfader Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Super exciting! Now just needs the the sea planes & english channel and the ilya muromets with eastern fron map, I'm ready. 2

Yes, I am referring to the D.II lt, the other variant. 49 minutes ago, Rivfader said: Super exciting! I’d like it to be in the GBs engine but if that’s not possible then after Korea is released a new WW1 series in that game engine, set east of France and Belgium, can be made 🙂 Edited September 7, 2024 by Enceladus828

But I think that if they were going to do another map it would be one covering the Channel, Northern France, Belgium and Southern England (London included). I'd like to see Jason Williams dream realized when it comes to zeppelin bombers raining terror on London and RFC fighters trying to defend the city. Edited September 7, 2024 by Jackfraser24
JG4_Moltke1871 Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Will the FC career mode completely overworked to its final stage with the next update and the placeholders replaced? I don’t want hunting „jets“ like the DH4 with a Halberstadt D.II anymore 😅 Will the map have its final status or will it is still under construction beyond the next update? I ask for a friend 😅😎

Crazy76 Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 "de nombreux autres changements seront apportés au mode carrière " .....serait-il possible de revenir en arrière (je ne me souvient plus à partir de quelle mise à jour ) concernant les tir des avion IA très destructeurs pour les pilotes virtuels qui ne sont pas des "as " GOOGLE traduction : "many other changes will be made to the career mode" .....would it be possible to go back (I don't remember from which update) concerning the shooting of AI planes which are very destructive for virtual pilots who are not "aces"
pasao Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Good morning all When is it expected to be available for purchase? Ansiety is eating me Great work!!!
Trooper117 Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 13 hours ago, Sneaksie said: D.II is already available in Flying Circus Vol.III. He's talking about the D.II late variant, not the current one with the Windhoff radiators mounted on the fuselage sides, the late version had a Teves and Braun radiator mounted on the top plane above the pilots head, because the Windhoff's were at a lower level than the crankcase of the engine they were cooling, and a shot into either radiator was likely to drain the cooling system. This later version was represented in Rise of Flight as well as the one we have. 3
