Hello everyone!
Well, I don't know about you, but the first movie that made me pay attention to airplanes was Flying Tigers with John Wayne.

Tigres Voadores - Filme 1942 - AdoroCinema
And it was love at first sight with the P-40.
But I didn't find any suggestions covering this theater of war.
I think it would be interesting to include Pearl Harbor as an additional campaign within this DLC.
And we would have access to some less famous, but no less important warbirds.

The first would be the P-40B, which was the first operational version of the P-40, and saw combat in China, and at Pearl Harbor.

Warplanes of the USA: Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, Tomahawk, and Kittyhawk

The second is the father of the P-47, which was called the P-43. And unlike the P-40, the P-43 performed well above 15,000 feet.

And it was used in China

And finally, the father of the P-40, which was basically a P-40 with a radial engine, and was called the P-36.

A P-36 was even shot down in Pearl Harbor by American anti-aircraft, as it was mistaken for an A6m2.

9 P-36 Hawk - Pearl Harbor ideas | pearl harbor, december 7 1941, harbor

Not to mention that the P-36 could also be used in a possible Battle of France, and even in Finland like Hawk 75

Good idea to ask for a AVG campaign!

I would buy it.

It would be possible to be realized with the current IL-2 GB technology.

A map of a part of China would be required.

Concerning the planes:

-Lancer would be interesting

-P36 similar Hawk 75 for many different purposes as already mentionend.

-Japanese Planes: I think most importent would be Japanese Army Planes, e.g.:Ki-43 Oscar and some Bombers.

very importent: for Japanese Army planes no carriers are required.

Combination with Pearl Harbour

With current IL-2 GB technology problematic because of the missing carriers.

If you want to create and fly easily combat missions some USAAF PAcific P40 (and P39) missions you could use my EMG modification:

Or as an alternative you could try out @JSOflyer69's Mod:

(please do not install them both together)

No worries. It's just too much of us left lately. How knows, maybe some other sim will give us that early war gameplay we deserve.

The A5m Claude was widely used in China by Japan as well.

What if this DLC came in the new IL-2 Korea, as a subsequent update?
