Dead game, dead AI?

I tried playing some campaign missions and career mode. The AI has its problems, but I can't remember it being this reliable, especially when it comes to crashing into each other in every single missions I tried in the current version.
 

I hope more players will post their mission logs here. The lack of reports might be the reason nothing is being done about it, right? When I buy FC4 in the future, it will be fixed, right? ☺️

There have been improvements to the AI.  For the most part, IMO the AI is much better.  Better to the point, that I've requested in another thread, that they make the pilot HEAD hit box a little smaller.  Those long range pilot kills from 1 bullet seem very unrealistic. 

 

However, to your point,  AI collisions do occur at times, and seem to often involve ( In my online experience)  the French N17.  I hope the devs can take a look and see if there is something in the N17 AI flight model that might be causing this.

Is the FC AI still just flying around and never hitting each other or not even fighting, or just chasing each other around never shooting at one another?

Neither imo.  But I fly online at the flugpark.  I suspect the mission designers have many if not most of the AI flying on 'Ace' level.  Most of the collisions I have observed involve the French Nieuport 17.

 

Maybe the AI in career mode is set at something less skilled?   Honestly don't know.
