Gwoodby Posted August 17, 2024 Posted August 17, 2024 This thread is really to ask the Devs a question. I realize you are making a new engine, however I have put many weeks of gamplay into keeping my American and Russian pilots alive in GB. Will you make a utility to import your pilots from GB to the Korea Project?
1CGS LukeFF Posted August 17, 2024 1CGS Posted August 17, 2024 No, they are going to be entirely separate titles, and starting off you will be the unit commander. Not possible.
Aapje Posted August 17, 2024 Posted August 17, 2024 There is not going to be career continuity, so no.
AEthelraedUnraed Posted August 17, 2024 Posted August 17, 2024 There's nothing keeping you from giving your new pilot the same name as the old one and pretending it's the same guy though. It's not too far-fetched either; many (most?) of the unit commanders in Korea were WW2 vets.

That is what I'd do... keep the same name... and if you want you can keep a tally of kills (etc.) manually. In fact, that would allow a bit more realism if one looked up the actually scoring standards used historically (e.g. different criteria for 'confirming' kills, the existence or not of 'shared kills').
