Tracker IR question

Well, a wire broke on my Tracker IR. I managed to get them soldered back together, to no avail. I had the one that was attached to my headset. Is it possible to get another one that will attach to my headset, the camera still works or am I going to have to purchase a whole new rig?

Bob, if you mean one of these things.....

 

 

...then you can buy them separately for around £55 (probably dollar equivalent in the former colonies). In the UK (im not sure about elsewhere) there are alternatives like Delanclip (either the original one at £35 or the Fusion with an integral battery for £65).  I've found the Delan clip original a lot sturdier that the Track IR verson if not quite as pretty. Mines done probably 3000-4000 hours without a fail.

These things are basically just a few IR LEDs wired to a battery.

Maybe do what i did, got a trackhat sensor v2 when mine broke, never regretted it BTW ...
