some controls issues

Hello guys, I wanted to ask the following things i cant manage to setup properly.
 

1. Since I am flying in VR exclusively i would love to be able to move my headposition within the cockpit and then save some proper position as new standard. For some reason the "move pilot head..." functions do not work in VR. Could anyone please in detail describe how you guys manage to do that? Right now the only way to get some kind of OK position is to move my head off. then reset position and then hope that when i go back to standard office chair seated position it will match the proper position in cockpit. I can not believe that this cant be made less anoying - right?

2. For the 109s I can not seem to setup my adjustable stabilizer. No matter if i set up "Adjustable stabilizer up/down"  or "trim Elevator up/down" it simeply doesnt move the wheel on the left. What am I doing wrong please

Can't answer #1, don't fly in VR.

As for #2, you need to use "Adjustable stabilizer axis". You can still use buttons if you don't have an axis to assign.

Post a screenshot of your control assignments for the Bf-109 trim controller settings. As above, the it is only the Adjustable Stabilizer that needs assigning; I recommend deleting all the other trim assignments.

I am getting really frustrated. I am absolutely lost when it comes to setting up my standard head position in VR. No matter what I set inn camera options its only getting wors each time i klick the center button. Now i am almost looking at my pedals instead of out of the cockpit

also it seems to behave diffrently. When in multiplayer it doesnt do anything that makes even remotely sense and when trying in single player quick mission no matter what camer mode i set up the plane alwas "follows" my new head position basically undoing each and every change in head position i make.
Honestly i currently am really asking myself whats going on. Either something is seriously not working with my game settings or - i dont know.
I never had such problems in other flight sims.
This currently makes playing this game in fact impossible for me;(
Setting up the controls for moving the camera doesnt do a thing. nothing is moving the camera forward, left or anywhere else like the function in the options says it would.

Ok, as I said I don't fly in VR, but maybe I can help? 

1. Is this happening in more then one plane?

2. Have you reset the head position back to default?  To do this, get out of the game and go to directory "IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles/data/LuaScripts/snapviews" and delete the file for the plane. When you restart the game it will use the default head position.

3. When you are trying to move the head, are you pressing and holding the key you have mapped to center. Hold the center key then move the head to where you want it then press the save snap view key (default F10). Only after pressing F10 do you release the center key.

I'll deleted the File in the afternoon and try as you suggested.

Really Hope IT works.

ITS less annoying wth Servers that dont restrict head movement in canopy.

I Hope i get this working since i really Like the diversity in Planesets and maps this Game offers.

@SR-FWinger, you might try posting the VR question in the VR subfolder. I did a search there for position and there seems to be a lot of hits, but as I don't do VR, I don't really understand what they are talking about.

I fly too in vr but when i want to position my head in vr mode for every new plane then i reload il2 sturmovik outside vr ( i mean in regular screen mode ) and i use move pilot head functions with up-down-left-right-move forward-move backward keys , then i save my current head potion in snap view mode pressing F10 if i am right and thats all. My head position inside vr has been fixed ( you can use some trial and error thought to get the exact position you want )

I use since 4 years this for centering VR. (numpad 5 I have mapped to 0° of my second coolie head).

It works, no further settings for VR head reset.

I have deactivated the VR head restriction and care manually for not to leave the cockpit.
