RNAS10_Mitchell Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 (edited) Recent changes to the AI, imo have been a improvement. The AI pilot however has at times exceptional marksmanship. This can be frustrating when the AI pilot lands a head shot (now 1 head shot is instant death), from a great distance, or while performing a hard turn. Actually I like the fact that the AI is able to land some on target hit from a distance, or during hard manuvers, however, the single bullet head shot death from these distances/sharp angles is disappointing, and seems unrealistic. Not all head shots are fatal in real life. There are for example ear wounds, grazing shots, etc.. So I'm asking if the pilot head hit box could possibly be made a slight bit (maybe 10% or so) smaller? Edited August 8, 2024 by RNAS10_Mitchell 1 2

Dr1falcon500 Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 (edited) It does seem that pilot kills from around 200m and more are a bit too easy. Really should be shooting at 100m or less to get the number of PK's I see. Well I hope that's on topic enough. In my last PWCG Dr1 mission a DH4 gunner started firing around 700m range. I wouldn't have been too thrilled if the git had hit my pilot's head instead of making a few scattered holes in the top wing Edited August 12, 2024 by Dr1falcon500 1
