How to move IL-2 Sturmovik to a new SSD drive?

I remember this being discussed before but I can't find it using the search feature -- so please forgive me!

I have the game on an 256GB SSD drive that's running out of room! I've now got a 1TB drive that I've taken out of my old laptop and want to install it in my desktop where my game is and move the game to the bigger SSD drive!

I've already formatted the 1TB drive but would like to know if I can move the install to the new drive -- and if possible, how to do it?

It's self-contained, so you can just copy the game folder to the new location and create new desktop shortcuts.

Or if you want to have all the registry links correct, pick your folder on the new drive, start the installer, kill it as soon as you see the first files made inside your selected folder, than cut and paste it all.
