YAW3 - Full 360 yaw - IL2 Great Battles

I've finally received and set up my new YAW3 motion platform.

Here is a demo video of a flight in it, testing the 360 degree yaw and limits on the other axis:

Is that their stock chair, or your own? Do you feel any ratcheting on any axis? How easy is it to retract (or detach) the rudder pedal assembly when not in use?

 

I am a (very patient) Yaw 2 Kickstarter backer who uses a Next Level Racing Motion Platform V3, with not enough room in my gaming space to use the whole 360° yaw ability, and I need to store the Yaw 3 with the rudder pedals retracted or detached.

No problem! 

The chair is one I just bought at a local store and drilled some extra holes in the yaw universal mounting plate to fit.

So the entire rudder plate mounting arm attaches under the universal seat plate. 

The process for removing it is very straight forward.
1) remove the 1x screw holding the seat in place and remove the seat
2) 4 bolts hold the leg extension arm in place, once removed, it just slides out. Then the seat can be replaced. 👍

How do you get the nose to follow the 360 movement I’m having trouble with yaw3 tracking.., curious,how are you starting the game chair?
.,on the computer, starting yaw3 device main engine, then IL in game library then plug-in then starting IL but not in steam. (I Don’t fly it on steam)

Everything works for me. The nose of the airplane doesn’t seem to follow in my head and tend spin to around a ot and backwards.In the cockpit.  Thx

Loving this chair, though with the yaw 180 deg setting off its great.
