He said the last one. But to save you time, they said that they plan to make a DLC for Korea with an aircraft carrier before moving on to the Pacific.

My speculation is that it will be a a shared map, although they might expand the map a little for the carrier DLC. So mostly the carrier plus a bunch of airplanes.

Thanks for that.

I have tried to watch the dev vlogs, but they are a little, well, painful viewing.

There is already a 'mods' option. We're also getting slightly expanded tools based on the map tools.

I think the developers said it was easier to keep flight model modelling and damage model modelling done by staff. I could see a situation like what happened with Team Daidalos being a possibility though - that might be just within the realm of possibility.

One place that doesn't involve FM and DM modelling and its associated issues is 3rd party AI vehicles, trains and shipping and static objects. Particularly for the Normandy map we are missing a lot of representative shipping like merchant shipping of both sides and naval vessels like flak barges and destroyers, cruisers etc. Trains are another area that would benefit. With the aircraft we already have you could cover a lot of scenarios and time periods with the Normandy map given a bigger range of targets. Adding some additional static objects to enhance player airfields would be good too.

It would have to be done by a 3rd party team.
