deleting campaigns

trying to weed out some i dont play anymore, looked in the campaigns folder and deleted there, but still showing and playable in game, any idea where else i should look?

the IL2 ones free and those you bought load from the data\capaigns.gtp file. if you rename that they all will be gone.

Ones you want to keep active: ungtp them into your data\campaigns folder.

What i find frustrating at times with too many campaigns is that in the game display page you cannot order them alphabetical,

or better group them in folders like FC, Normandy etc.

 

I bought many campaigns over the years, but stopped because of one sheer frustration.

Due the *.cmpbin file formatting you cannot edit them, and oft times i'd like to change f.i. a player plane just for the fun of it, but you can't.

So i tend to disable those now useless for me. ... BTW in DCS one can edit ALL the mission (*miz) files.
