Mopple2 Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 Translate with Google Hello, I'm new here. I have a lot of experience with xPlane. I use the x56 joystick and TCA sidestick, both from Thrustmaster. I tried to assign a trim to the buttons on a joystick (horizontal fin trim axis or nose-heavy or elevator trim). When I press the buttons, the message appears on the right edge of the monitor. But the plane doesn't respond. Second question. You can set an overview with the "M" key. Unfortunately, the magnification is not sufficient to be able to see, for example, how to get to the runway when taking off.
1CGS LukeFF Posted July 8, 2024 1CGS Posted July 8, 2024 Just so you know, trim axis commands are for planes with rotating handles, knobs, etc., while the trim switch commands are for planes like the Pe-2 that have their trim controls on electrical switches.

It will tell you which planes have trim axes or trim switches or stabilizer switches.
