Cockpit Layouts

Good morning,

 

My apologies if this has already been covered but I'm looking for cockpit layouts. I'm getting back into IL2 from a very long break and it's become a more in depth sim than I remember. Engine management is far more detailed and I'm struggling to find references to the tail wheel lock in the P-47 and P-51 cockpits.

 

Any help and/or pointers would be appreciated.

There's a old guide called BOX Quick Guide, but it doesn't have the newer aircraft.  The P-47 tailwheel lock is located on the floor on the right side.  It has a red knob and has a label.  The P-51 tailwheel lock is operated by holding the stick back of the neutral point.  Forward of that position and it is unlocked (the FW-190 tailwheel lock operates the same way).

If you download marcobona's Great Battles Aircraft Details app, you'll be able to see the cockpit layouts of all IL2-GB aircraft.
