Quest 3 VR doesnt work

VR is enabled in launcher and options.

All I can get is the monitor view in VR but not actual VR.

have you installed the meta link software?

Make sure you have the meta quest link software installed and have set the runtime to use the meta runtime in the quest launcher.

I run VR in DCS, Meta software is installed, should have noted that.

Do you fire up steam-VR first?

I have standalone installed not using steam

Maybe you have to be either running SteamVR or using OpenComposite. DCS uses OpenXR. I use Virtual Desktop with OpenComposite on my Q3.
 

 

Additionally, the current OpenComposite is kind of broken, so go to this thread to get the one that works.
 

 

And finally, if you've never used OpenComposite before, it's actually as simple as copying one file, don't be overwhelmed by all the walls of text. Link includes simple directions using the .dll solution, but do not download the version on this site, as it isn't working at the moment.
