iar 80 a and b

i create a mission and i selected the iar 80 in equipment requests, so i can see that i have the iar 80 and the mission creates no problem, but will not show in the missions folder. any thoughts? when is the iar gonna be put into pwcg?

That almost always means that you do not own the plane that your pilot has been assigned.

thanks pat, although i do own the plane. i purchased them from the store 3 weeks ago.

 

10 mins later.... ok i doubled checked and on june 20 i bought all the collector planes, i did not realize the ta 152 plane was a german plane, i guess thats not in the pwcg program yet?

read the pwcg error text and it reads no skin designated for iar 80 but also for the mig3s24, on top it reads skin factory no factory. if that helps but i for sure have the planes

Can you open the mission in the mission editor?

ok yes i can and it seems to recognize im assigned to the iar 80. but what does it all mean according to the issue?

It means that the mission file has a valid mission.  If I had mucked up the plane designation or payload or something else the mission editor would not have loaded it.  

 

Can you fly the IAR in a quick mission?

thats funny that u asked cause i thought of the same thing and it only shows up for the enemy side ,can not select under my plane selection. btw in pwcg i always play on the axis side...so maybe its not recognized as an deutsches flugzeug.

Guarantee the game thinks you don't own the plane.  Quick mission doesn't care which side the plane historically flew.  If you bought the plane you are probably going to have to contact 1C customer service.

scheisse was zum teufel, that makes sense, for sure i checked it out and i can play the fw 190 both sides in quick mission
